HSRP (High Security Registration Plate)

• The Transport Department has implemented the HSRP scheme which is a national level standard for vehicles registration no. plate.
• Programs like camping for affixing HSRP was carried out at southern, North and Middle group of Islands, There by making easy for the people located at far flung area for affixing the HSRP.
• The affixing of HSRP has been outsourced to a company named The Real Mazon.
• Once a person get a registration number for his/her newly purchased vehicle then the HSRP affixation is carried out at the premises of RTO office (at Port Blair it is carried out at workshop section).
• The Fee for affixing HSRP at present are as follows
  • For Two wheeler:RS: 272.58/-
  • For Three wheeler:Rs:303.32
  • For Four wheeler:RS: 420.14/-
